It’s a big day! I just put up my new store on Yahoo after working on it for almost 3 months!!!
It’s called “The Starting Over Store” and it will have inspirational and practical products for people in major life transitions. If any of you have a chance, please check it out. All comments and suggestions are welcome.
I was going to post quietly, in the solitude of my corner office, but when I spoke to my future ex on his cell phone and told him I was about to push the “open for business” button, he wanted to be there, so I waited for him. It was pretty exciting actually.The official “launch” will be January 1. I haven’t told anyone else yet the store is open for business. Just the entire blog-reading population:).
Everything is running just fine, but there’s still a lot of work to be done, products to add, technicalities and design elements to adjust.
One of the things I’ve been advised of more than once is “Don’t wait till your site is perfect to launch. Get it up as soon as possible, then tweak it.” So that’s what I did. Maybe it’ll be perfect 2 years from now. Maybe never. Whatever. It’s up. I’m happy. Yay!
